The keys to a Premium Roof installation:
1. Pre-finished metal drip flashing is installed wherever the roof meets the Eaves trough.
This flashing protects the exposed Plywood/OSB edge, and directs the water into the Eaves trough.

2. Peel and stick (Ice and Water shield) is installed along all eaves and in all Valleys.
This is a precaution against ‘ice damning’ and is also required by the building code.

3. Pre-finished metal Valley flashing in all Valley junctions. Because the valley on a roof carries more water than any other given area, it is essential to install metal valleys to ensure the roof reaches its full life expectancy.

4. Starter shingles installed at all eaves, gables and all valleys. Manufactured starter shingles are designed to seal the edges of the roof which prevents blow offs.

5. Full roof coverage with Synthetic underlayment. Acts as a secondary layer of protection against water penetration.
Synthetic underlayment is superior to traditional felt paper.

6. Colour matching Goose neck exhaust caps. Blends in with the roof, and less susceptible to rusting.

7. Rigid Plumbing flashings. These flashings lay flat on the roof, and are they are more stable reducing issues of expansion and contraction that plague neoprene flashings.

8. Static airflow vents to meet airflow requirements of the Alberta building code. Whether it’s a new roof or an existing building we will always ensure your ventilation meets the building code, is adequate, and in good working order.

9. Pre-finished metal flashings, around chimneys, and along walls. Coloured flashings blend seamlessly with the roof and are an essential part of waterproofing.
10. Quality Roofing product installed to the manufacturers specifications.

11. Manufactured capping for hips and ridges.

1. High quality sealant applied to exposed nail heads

The Final product.
