Duro-Last is safely installed with hot air welding and is mechanically fastened or fully adhered or ballasted, depending on the existing roof.
In many cases, a new Duro-Last roofing system can be installed over an existing roof without an expensive tear-off, virtually eliminating dust or falling debris that might interfere with building activities or damage sensitive equipment.
Building occupants will hardly know a new roof is being applied, because installation is quiet, fast and safe.
There are no loud machines, hazardous materials, noxious fumes, hot tars or open flames.
It’s recyclable – now that’s environmentally friendly!
Duro-Last is a complete roof system.
All curbs, flashing, penetrations & drains are fabricated in the factory. Historically, this is where 90% of all roof leaks occur.
Duro-Last Roof System has virtually eliminated these potential leaks which means less headache for you.
The Duro-Last Roofing System has retained reflectivity of greater than 85% after three years of weathering (based on ENERGY-STAR roof products testing criteria).
Saving significant energy and money for building owners.
Adding insulation during the installation of the roof, reducing heat loss in winter and keeping the interior cooler in the summer.
The Duro-Last vinyl roof membrane is a proprietary thermoplastic formulation consisting of PVC resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, biocides, flame retardants and UV absorbents. A weft-insertion knitted scrim that is laminated between two layers of PVC film gives the membrane its strength and durability. The Duro-Last single-ply membrane is available in white, gray, dark gray, tan, or terra cotta.
The flexible roof membrane is easily prefabricated into deck sheets up to 2,500 square feet in size, as well as custom-made parapet, stack, and curb flashings that eliminate most labor from critical roof areas – transitions and changes of plane. Prefabrication provides architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and building owners peace-of-mind regarding the watertight security of the roof installation.
